2nd Annual Prince George's County R/C Racing League

Manhood 101, Inc., in collaboration with Prince George’s County Parks and Recreation, proudly presents the 2nd Annual Prince George’s County R/C Racing League for the 2025–2026 program year. Building on the success of its inaugural season, this county-wide initiative continues to engage youth through hands-on STEM learning, competitive racing, and leadership development.
Program Overview
Team Formation:
Nine racing teams will be established—each representing one of the nine Prince George’s County Council Districts.
Teams will consist of:
- One adult coach
- Six primary student participants
- Three alternates
- Youth must be affiliated with Prince George’s County middle schools, high schools, Parks and Recreation centers, or the Prince George’s County Boys and Girls Club.
Equipment & Entry
Each team will receive one remote-control racing car, provided at no cost.
There is no entry fee for participation in the league.
- Competition Schedule:
The league will host five official races throughout the season.
The championship team will be invited to represent Prince George’s County at the 2026 National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Convention in Baltimore, Maryland, competing in the national R/C Racing Competition.
- Teams must be based in Prince George’s County.
- Cars will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to teams that have completed the mandatory intake form.
- Each team must submit a completed entry intake form prior to receiving their car at the meeting.

1. November 8, 2025 - 9:30am - 1pm ( Team Workshop)
2. December 6, 2025 - 9:00am - 12:30pm ( PGC - Teams only)
3. January 10, 2026 - 9am- 12:30pm ( PGC - Teams only)
4. February 7, 2026 9am - 2pm ( DMV Invitation)
5. April 4, 2026 9am- 1pm ( RC Racing PG County Championship/ STEM Day)
